据美国媒体12月18日 报道，周三（12月18日），众议院就特朗普弹劾案投票表决结果出炉：只有2名民主党人投票反对弹劾，有230名民主党人投了赞同票，这使特朗普成为众议院有史以来第三位遭到弹劾的总统。

美国众议院通过了两项弹劾条款，弹劾的第一项条款---滥用职权---以230票对197票获得通过；对第二条---阻碍国会---表决结果是229票对198票。众议院议长南希•佩洛西（Nancy Pelosi）表示，“可悲的是，总统的鲁莽行为使得弹劾成为必要，他让我们别无选择。”
那么，对弹劾案在众议院获得通过，特朗普如何反应？“没感觉我真的被弹劾了,他们每个人都想弹劾我，不过，被弹劾也没什么感觉呀，我们国家从未如此强盛，我们也没做错什么，我们从未感受过共和党内有过如此强大的力量”“我一点也不担心，因为这并没有什么，什么都没做却被弹劾，这或许会是伴随我一生的记录，但他们却贬低了弹劾”，特朗普收获的是阵阵掌声。
他转而夸耀自己的成就，包括国会不就前投票支持成立太空部队，他说，“有一天我会告诉我的孩子和其他人，看到那支太空部队，那是我的孩子。”
特朗普会下台吗？
众院通过弹劾条款后，接下来还必须由共和党居多数的参议院审理，决定特朗普是否下台。预期参议院明年1月审理。弹劾案须获得至少三分之二参议员支持才能通过，而共和党籍议员在参议院占多数。美联社报道，弹劾案几乎注定将在参议院碰壁。
